HOW BAAA WORKS

• There are no annual membership dues, and new members are always welcome.
• BAAA has no legal status, and has no financial accountability to its members.
Our organizational structure is decentralized; we are a network of member artists. All projects
and activities are member driven. Member projects are not approved of or endorsed by BAAA.
• Our mode of communication is email, so members need to be email-equipped.
• Members must be contact-friendly, and are encouraged to pass along information they feel will
be of general interest or importance to other members, like a community bulletinboard.
• New members will immediately receive our member contact list, so they may communicate with
fellow members. The contact list will be updated regularly and sent to members.
• We respect the privacy rights of our members. All BAAA members must keep this membership
list confidential.
• Content on mass emails to members must be restricted to arts related matters only.
• Participation in any projects or activities is always voluntary, since not everything will be of
interest to all members. It is up to individual members to initiate projects that are of interest to
them, identify and communicate with other interested members, and execute the project based
on the skills, time, and resources of the “team”. Members may also opt to initiate projects
independently from other members. If funding is required, it is the responsibility of the
individual or the team to fund the project.
