Daria Dorosh
Mixed Media Artist

Daria’s background is in fine art and fashion. She has been exhibiting her artwork and teaching
fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology for over 30 years. Her work ranges from
small table-top sculptures to paintings, prints, photomontage, video, and sculpture in a wide
range of sizes, media, and prices. She exhibits regularly with A.I.R. Gallery in New York City and
is associated with SMARTlab at the University of East London as a researcher and where she
is completing a Ph.D in new digital media.

Artist Emily Harris writes about Daria’s 2007 exhibition, "The Changing Room”: “With her
sensitive and keen philosophical inquiry, she revives art as a device for life. She plays with
understood ideas of the world to help us see that they are changeable and pliable; never fixed,
but always fluid.”
