From under the Northern Star, my road has been winding and long

It’s lead me from my native Finland to a long stay in London, a brief spell in mainland China, to
settle in North West New Jersey, and now to live in Pond Eddy in Sullivan County in New York
State.

I’ve been many things, but always the writer in me has been constant.

Working as a freelance journalist, my stories have appeared in the Sparta Independent, The
Township Journal, and Advertiser South in New Jersey; the Pike County Courier in Pennsylvania;
and on the internet at moondance.org.  There are many ways of looking at reality, and paths to
understanding, and my articles about this have been published in The Mountain Astrologer.

I’ve finished an as-yet unpublished novel on the theme of how time intertwines all space and all
levels exist a the same time, based on, and describing past life memories.

Currently, I’m working on another novel based on how the Upper Delaware River area and my
house drew me in, and how it has sparked some past life memories anew.  I’m also writing short
stories around the same theme.

My intention and hope is to help and encourage others who like writing, and to that end, I’ve
run the local chapter of the New Jersey Writers for the last year in Sussex County. I’ve also
started a new Writers Group in Pond Eddy, Sullivan County since moving here. Any area resident

information below.  The focus of this group is on prose.

My formal education and resume consists of a B.Sc. Degree from LSE in London, and I also
qualified and practiced as a psychotherapist from the Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy
in London.  As part of my corporate world work, I wrote technical manuals for computer
software use.

More recently, I obtained a Web Publishing Certificate from a local community college, which
included a Journalism Course.  I’ve also taken a Creative Writing Course with the University of
Madison, and taught a children’s writing workshop in New Jersey.

I’m available for freelance writing and editing, as well as for workshops.
